This book isn't really as in depth as you'd like.
On top of that, it, for some reason, repeats the first chapter or so. Perhaps to add to the length of the book?

Also, the japanese phrases are pronouced horribly. Prepare for alot of Sepookoo and the likes.

If you have no knowledge of samurai, then this will add slightly to your knowledgebase, but for me it really wasn't worth it.

this book is about a guy that winds up in a gameworld and consistently gets overpowered gear and boons. He never really encounter any difficulties due to somehow always finding The right gear or whatever.

The book is filled with references to other geek books, shows, games and the likes which made me feel as though it was a desperate attempt at keeping ones interest.

i find myself, like many others, reminded of the play to live series by d rus, but so far this serie has less racial stereotypes and objectification of women, which is Nice.

overall, its not great, but i cant say that it's bad either. The story is decent, although The constant spewing of nonessential numbers get a bit annoying.

Came for Rutger Hauer, stayed for awesomeness.

Being a fan of the Alien movies, and wanting something exciting to listen to while I'm working, I found this.
Noticing that Rutger Hauer was in it, it was an immediate buy.
I was not dissapointed.

All of the actors in this book really delivered on their parts, and the added soundeffects in the background did their job of keeping the feel of an actual alien movie.
I warmly recomend this book for anyone really. It doesn't matter if you've seen the movies or not, as it provides a nice intro to the alien universe, but if you've seen the movies you will definatly get a kick out of the story.
Now I need to quickly forget what happens in this, so that I can go back and relisten!

Better than The first

Hayes has really hit a stride here. the story picks up where it left of, and pulls you Alingsås efortlesly

this book starts out really slow, with boring generic characters and crappy names like mr numbers and mr transport. I was about to give up on this, but i didn't have anything else to read, so i stuck with it. and i'm glad i did.

it's like a standard teenage movie / tv serie AT först, which is mildly entertaining, but it morphs into more superhero stuff as The characters grow.

now i'm off to get The second book. i'm itching to hear the rest!

very shortened story, with background music thats too loud, making it harder to hear the narrator.
Was hoping this would be a japanese learning bok, but its for enlighet learners already speaking japanese

poor childrens fantasy

inconcistencies in the story. lots of orattle about nothing. no logic regarding the magical system. 12h book. 2 hours (tops) worth of story. I wouldnt even recomend this to children, as there are so much better childrens fantasy out there.
