Historia
Who is THE NOWHERE MAN? He is spoken about only in whispers. He comes to those in greatest need of his protection. There is no enemy he cannot fight. He lives by his own code. He takes no prisoners. His name is Evan Smoak. Taken from a group home when he was young, Evan was raised and trained as an Orphan, an off-the-books black box program designed to create the perfect deniable intelligence asset: An assassin.

1 minor critque reconsidered
Revisado: 04-22-23
Every bit as good as tier one and i think i have a fictional crush on Riker. Nice character development, geopolitical manuveri g without the politics. The only minor constructive criticism i had at first was that whitney sounds EXACTLY like Elizabeth grimes and it would be nice to have a little variety there. But as whitney’s character develops she is getting more of her own voice that way.

Wait what?
Revisado: 04-03-23
I’m honestly still deciding on how I feel about this book. On the up side I loved that this was a modern military story not set in Bagdad. There was creativity and Imperfect but impactful characters. Maybe it was an effort to not have stereotypical characters, but I honestly hated everyone in this book except Louis. Maybe that was one of the “messages” of the story that the only actual “Good guy”. Is a sidebar local but that may just be a lucky side effect. The narrator made this book bearable so we could get to the absolutely amazing ending. So yea I think that is how i feel about this book, 6-7 hrs of good story wrapped in another 9-10 hrs of drivel sculpted into art by an amazing narrator.

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Perfect audiobook
Revisado: 10-28-21
Narration is superb. And the writing let my imagination fly while giving enough actual science to keep me grounded in the story and amazingly invested in the characters. I listen to audiobooks daily and this is one of the BEST. i had planned to listen to over the course of a week. Finished in 2 days! Actually mad when phone calls interrupted my listening session. The audacity. Well worth the credit.

Historia
Some call him friend or boss. Some call him husband or dad. Some call him son, even a favorite son. But the only title that matters to him is the one the media has given him: the Poet. A name he earned from the written words he leaves behind after he kills that are as dark and mysterious as the reason he chooses his victims. One word, two, three, a story in a poem, a secret that only Detective Samantha Jazz can solve. Because, he’s writing this story for her.

Revisado: 09-17-21
I love and almost exclusively listen to procedurals and thriller. I loved the characters in this book and the way the story developed was intriguing. I listen to my audible books on my phone and would actually get mad when my story was interrupted by a call. I had to take away 1 star from the story because of the ending being so….basic. She did such a good job keeping you guessing through the book that when the reveal came it was meh. There were lots of things that procedure junkies would hate because they would NEVER happen but this is fiction and it was quite entertaining.

There is one thing wrong with this series
Revisado: 04-25-21
And that is that there are only 6 audiobooks in it. The tier one series are true military thrillers and not just fictional novels about a guy in the army. You feel the camaraderie, competition, angst, and anger of the good guys and the bad. The narrator is superb. The story is intriguing. The characters are human. And the stakes are HIGH. For the record no one paid me to write this review. These books are just worth the listen.

Historia
An apparent accidental death turns out to be only the first of many murders. Ben Kendall was a troubled man. Coming back from Vietnam with PTSD and scars that no one else could see, he hid away from the world, filling his house with an ever-increasing amount of stuff, until finally the piles collapsed and he was found dead, crushed beneath his own belongings. But what on first glance looks to be the tragic accidental death of a hoarder maybe something much more - and much deadlier

Hoagie sandwich on diet bread
Revisado: 02-23-21
The crux of the story is great, classic Joe Gunther but an awkward beginning and end left me less satisfied than with other Gunther novels. Still love how Archer lets you feel the story as Joe does and the David v Goliath moral quandaries which defínantly makes it worth the listen.
