Historia
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Sorry nerds, this book is terrible
Revisado: 07-17-23
The performance, ambient background noise and story all combine to make for a miserable experience.
I should have returned this after the first 20 minutes, but so many have said this is the greatest sci-fi ever. The storyline is full of excessively eager vocabulary, plot holes and unlikable characters.
The production, while technically being well recorded, feels as if the background ambiance comes from a tourist crystal and curiosity shop in anytown USA.
I'm not even proud of my commitment to finish this book.

Historia
In this audiobook, you'll find the maddest, strangest and downright grossest stories from history and science that you don't want to know. (Except secretly you really do you masochistic, beastly person you.) Painfully funny and drop-your-jaw ridiculous, this is trivia from the cesspit of time that you won't be able to stop listening once you start.

Entertaining for a moment
Revisado: 05-06-22
At first this book was entertaining, but as it dragged on, the asides and editorial insertions became repetitive and obnoxious. These stories feel like they are being told by the witty loud guy in the corner of an office party.

Historia
Author, airline captain, and popular blogger Eric Auxier brings Alaska bush flying to life in his second novel, The Last Bush Pilots. Exhilarating flying, tall tales, and larger-than-life characters abound in a wild land that truly is America's Last Frontier. Two young pilots, Daniel "D.C." Alva and Allen David Foley, take on the world's most dangerous flying: the Alaska bush. But Mother Nature - and a sexy Native Alaskan - stand in their way.

Formulaic and Predictable
Revisado: 11-16-20
This story was an easy "read", fairly mindless and for the most part, predictable. The narrator's voices were cringeworthy, giving. nasal, drunken drone to all characters, major and minor.
