Most people will find themselves going through a difficult time after a breakup. With the addition of shared custody, everything can swiftly become overwhelming. They may find themselves unable to move on positively as a result of their difficult ex, or they may be fulfilling their role as a parent while combating their ex on the side. This eventually leads to an inability to react constructively and block out one’s instincts after enduring years of gaslighting or abuse.

I did receive a copy in exchange for a review of this book. This book gave a lot of information in easy to understand bits. It defined a narcissist and gave tips and tricks on how to deal with them during divorce and custody challenges. It pointed out that taking care of yourself during this time is just as important and finally gave helpful tips and ideas on how to handle the challenges presented with the children in a situation like this. Information throughout the book was well presented and well written. With many sources and suggested apps that can help parents in this situation. I am not in a situation presented in the book but I do think it can be helpful to someone who is.
