I've listened to all the Mrs. Jeffries books. When Jennifer M Dixon became the reader they declined in listening quality. The voice for Wiggins is that of a screechy 12/13 year old boy, not a young man of 22 or so. Betsy's voice too has a screechy quality. Easy to change - please do.

What made the experience of listening to John Quincy Adams the most enjoyable?

Johnny Heller made this listen exceptional. Harlow Giles Unger did a masterful job of explaining the man in the perspective of his times and his family. I cannot recommend this book highly enough!

Would you listen to The Game of Kings again? Why?

I would listen to it many times over the years. I had read the books several times, but it's so much easier to listen to this one due to the elegance and complexity of the story and the language. The reader is terrific.

What does Samuel Gillies bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings the 1547/1548 era to life with his understanding of the language of the day.

What did you love best about Unintended Consequences?

I really love Tony Roberts' reading of all Stuart Woods books. The books themselves are amusing, but Roberts reading is fabulous!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dino because Roberts makes him so real!

Have you listened to any of Tony Roberts’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Love all the Woods books by Roberts and this is great as they all are.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No because I like to make the fun last!

Would you consider the audio edition of Two Graves to be better than the print version?

Yes! Rene Auberjenois brings the Douglas and Preston books to life. He is an absolutely fabulous reader.

What about Rene Auberjonois’s performance did you like?

HIs pacing, diction, his personal tone, his emphasis. He is the best reader I've ever heard and I listen to many audiobooks.
