Love Sophie's Story

I have loved every book in the series of Daughters of Blessing. I have listened to the Series from the beginning and I love every book. I feel like part of the family of Blessing and the inspirational message all through the books has encouraged me and God has used this series to speak to my heart many times. I hope it never ends or I will start from the first book again "An Untamed Heart" The story of Ingeburg and Karin and Sophie being Karin daughter and how all the characters tie together. It's the BEST SERIES EVER". Thank you Lauraine Snelling and Stina Nielsen for bring this series to life.

If you could sum up The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi in three words, what would they be?

Enjoyable, Entertaining and learned so much.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi?

I cannot say because each chapter took me on another piece of the journey through the life of Jesus and how Kathie's increased knowledge captivated her love for God and Jesus even more.

Which character – as performed by Rabbi Jason Sobel and Kathie Lee Gifford – was your favorite?

They were the characters taking on the many characters in the bible and bringing them to life for me. Loved the whole book and will listen again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Connecting all the little things you look over in the bible but had such meaning and the Rabbi explained in detail the knowledge behind the things that took place. It's a must read but I completely enjoyed the audio version.

Any additional comments?

I cannot wait for the bible study in June. Such knowledge was shared and so interesting I can't wait to dive in and learn more. I loved the interaction of personal stories of Kathie and her husband on their trip and the bouncing back and forth between Kathie and the Rabbi. The audio was total pleasure and I will listen again and again. I think each time I will take away something I missed on the journey.

STORY OF FORGIVNESS

What made the experience of listening to All Things New the most enjoyable?

Seeing how tragedy and hatred destroys so many lives but if we allow God to change even just a few hearts we can make a difference by reacting to the pain through forgiving. Seeing how God has His hand on us in the worst of times. This book captivated me and kept my interest all the way to the end.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Josephine , Eugina and Lizzie and Otis. Josephine was humble in spirit and made right choices and stepped out of her comfort zone to make a difference. Her mother dropped her pride and also made right choices to make a difference when it was totally against everything she knew. Otis was the rock in the story and Lizzie and all learned from his kind spirit and great man of faith.

Have you listened to any of Robin Miles’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not and she was incredible and I enjoyed the story more because of her many talented voices to make each character special.

If you could take any character from All Things New out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Otis as he is the one I could learn from the most and gain insight into walking with the Lord in the most difficult of times.

Yes to the author your books encourage and give me great pleasure listening to the scriptures and living the stories with the characters. Keep writing and I will keep listening.
