I really enjoyed this story and Emilia Fox is pretty darn good with the voices for the characters!
Good story line although quite sad. I even really liked the follow up at the end!

Excellent storytelling

I am always pleased with Agatha Christie's novels.
The only downside I would say in listening to these audiobooks is that I sometimes fall asleep and then have completely lost my place!
I also had difficulty (I have Audio Processing difficulties to be honest) with the recording of The 4:50 From Paddington, because of Joan Hickson's accent which was unfamiliar to me. I did enjoy her voice although.

I love how Agatha Christie writes these wonderful mysteries but they are not graphic in the gorey sense of the word, and generally are not too terribly triggering, using this is the common current meaning. I don't have to worry that there will be a rape or excessive abuse. This is one of my favorites!

I LOVE this novel!

I am an Agatha Christie fan and really really enjoyed this novel. The heroine Ann Bedingfield was quite fun and the twists at the end of the novel were more than I ever expected.

Classic Stories

I bought this collection for the purpose of listening to the original The Little Mermaid. Of course the story has some Christian undertones, but over all is not a terrible story.
We still have yet to listen to the other stories, but forewarning: Hansel & Gretel is MUCH more scarey than I remember! We will be skipping that one for a little while, since my little one is very imaginative at the moment.
