Wow!!
Revisado: 11-15-23
I have read all of Michael Connolly‘s Harry Bosch series as well as all of the Lincoln lawyer series. This is one of the very best, if not the best of the Lincoln lawyer series. I’m so pleased that a large portion of the book takes place in the courtroom. I look forward to more Mickey and Harry together. They complement each other well.

Why?
Revisado: 10-06-23
After three very good previous books in this series, the author, for some reason, decided to end this book series in such a strange way. Why end it like this with so few details? I feel this book could have logically continued and resolved important issues in the story for another two or three hours. The narrator was a large part of some of the problems. I have no idea why John‘s name was dragged out through three syllables over and over and over again. I almost stopped listening to it simply because of that. I am disappointed.

Historia
Walt thinks he might find the answers he's looking for among the ruins of an old Native American boarding school—an institution designed to strip Native children of their heritage. He has been haunted by the image of the Fort Pratt Industrial Indian Training School ever since he first saw a faded postcard picturing a hundred boys in uniform, in front of a large, ominous building—a postcard that was given to him by Jimmy Lane, the father of Jeanie One Moon.

Enough with the mystical hallucinations!
Revisado: 09-11-22
Craig Johnson is one of my favorite authors and I have read all of his books. I can truthfully say this is the first one that has disappointed me. George Guidall as narrator is his usual marvelous voice of Walt Longmire. I eagerly read Craig Johnson’s books, I love the characters, and I love the narrator. But what happened? This is the first work I have been struggling to get through. Usually with one of the Longmire books, I make time during the day to listen. This story line is not interesting, sometimes disjointed and difficult to follow, and more than once I had the feeling I had heard this all before in previous books. I reluctantly give it two stars, and one of those stars belongs to George Guidall.

Book needs another narrator.
Revisado: 11-21-20
I thoroughly enjoy Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch on the TV series. However, his narration made it very difficult for me to listen to this book and to get through it. His flat mono tone made it confusing to keep track of which character was speaking. Audible, please re-record this book with a different narrator. I would purchase this book again if it had a different narrator.

A Must Read Classic
Revisado: 06-20-18
I first read this wonderful science fiction gem in my late teens and have enjoyed re-reading it about every 10 years. It never gets old or dated or less fascinating. Whenever asked my favorite SF novel, this has consistently been number one, despite many other wonderful SF books. Finally, it is an audible book! What took so long? Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.

It Got Better and Better
Revisado: 06-15-18
This is one of those books that is a great read, but an even better audio book. At first, David Thorpe's narration took a little getting used to, but within minutes, it became a necessary part of the enjoyment. This is an excellent story with characters one can really recognize. My friend read the book, but didn't listen to the audio. I urged her to listen and afterward, she agreed the narration helped and the story got better and better. You'll enjoy this gem!

Outstanding!!!
Revisado: 03-29-13
Oh Lord, Please don't let anything happen to George Guidall. Keep him safe for all who listen to his wonderful narration of the Walt Longmire Mystery series. He brings it to life. I was waiting in an office recently while listening to his narration of "Cold Dish" and suddenly barked out a laugh I couldn't control. All heads turned my way, and I apologized and stated it was an audible book I was listening to. Smiles all around. The series by Craig Johnson is as wonderful as the narration. Thank you audible.com for much enjoyment!
