Historia
Chemist Elizabeth Zott is not your average woman. In fact, Elizabeth Zott would be the first to point out that there is no such thing as an average woman. But it’s the early 1960s and her all-male team at Hastings Research Institute takes a very unscientific view of equality. Except for one: Calvin Evans; the lonely, brilliant, Nobel–prize nominated grudge-holder who falls in love with—of all things—her mind. True chemistry results.

Great Narration. Didn't enjoy the story
Revisado: 01-22-23
Really didn't enjoy this story at all. I feel like the main characters were surrounded by mustache twirling level "evil" characters. The other characters are not normal, fairly decent people with flaws, like you would experience in real life. Instead, the other characters are literally plotting the protagonists' downfall because they are less successful and the protagonist said something to them once that rubbed them the wrong way. I was 4 hours into the book before another character was introduced that wasn't awful. Then it all gets wrapped up at the end with a "Dickens" level of coincidences. The description of "laugh out loud funny" baffles me. I found nothing in this book funny at all. I was reading it for a book club and that is the only reason why I finished it and I switched to 1.2 x speed about half way through so I could finish it.

Historia
From the singular voices behind Tom and Lorenzo comes the ultimate guide to all-things RuPaul's Drag Race and its influence on modern LGBTQ culture. Legendary Children centers itself around the idea that not only is RuPaul's Drag Race the queerest show in the history of television, but that RuPaul and company devised a show that serves as an actual museum of queer cultural and social history, drawing on queer traditions and the work of legendary figures going back nearly a century.

So much more than a history of Drag Race

Really enjoyed the audio version of this book. I'm a regular reader of the authors' blog. Really learned a lot about queer history is an entertaining way.
