I listen to the book whilst travelling to and from work, and at times you can't help but smirk and laugh at some of john's internal musings. I have followed DeMille for many years and he has yet to write a dud in my opinion.

This was a great listen in general, with some intersting twists along the way, worth a listen to.

I have seen the movie so i had a had an advantage...Good story line once it got going, and i thought the arrogance of the CIA was well portrayed throughout the book, and indeed at times adding to the suspense. I like the author, and i found the narrator to be OK (as opposed to all the other critics that are giving him a pasting). Worth a listen to.

A young woman who refused to be beaten by the Nazi regime and all that it stood for. An amazing story narrated in such a wonderful way that i found myself cheering for Edith and yet at the same time full of sorrow that anyone should have to go through what she and many other's had to just to survive.
