Far fetched
Revisado: 06-14-24
I felt that this book was not believable. Too many people were okay with murder, let alone children being murdered. It was dark and twisted, and I think that’s the reason it was so overhyped. It was a fine book but totally forgettable and producible

Secluded at his cottage in the woods, Gideon instructs Bess in the Craft, awakening formidable powers she didn’t know she had and making her immortal. She couldn't have foreseen that even now, centuries later, he would be hunting her across time, determined to claim payment for saving her life.

Historia
Tamsyn Muir’s Gideon the Ninth unveils a solar system of swordplay, cut-throat politics, and lesbian necromancers. Her characters leap out of the audio, as skillfully animated as arcane revenants. The result is a heart-pounding epic science fantasy. Brought up by unfriendly, ossifying nuns, ancient retainers, and countless skeletons, Gideon is ready to abandon a life of servitude and an afterlife as a reanimated corpse.

This was an okay read

This book was okay but not great. Some parts were confusing, and I was glad when it ended. There was enough there, though, for me to want to finish it.

Historia
Taking place during the most critical period of our nation’s birth, The First Conspiracy tells a remarkable and previously untold piece of American history that not only reveals George Washington’s character, but also illuminates the origins of America’s counterintelligence movement that led to the modern day CIA. In 1776, an elite group of soldiers were handpicked to serve as George Washington’s bodyguards. Washington trusted them; relied on them. But unbeknownst to Washington, some of them were part of a treasonous plan.

Love letter to George Washington
Revisado: 06-30-19
If you like biased history, then this is the book for you! All this book is is a giant love letter to the brilliant and godly Goerge Washington. The authors treat the reader as if they are stupid overexplaining everything. I don't recommend this book to anyone trying to study history; it is biased toward the Americans and paints the British as the villians. Lastly, We all know going into this book that the plot failed, so why is it written like a thriller? This book was painful to get through... don’t waste your time.
