Historia
The galaxy’s worst bounty hunter just might be its most relentless hero. Esper Richelieu is a wizard with a mission: To make the galaxy a better place one lost soul at a time. Donning the trappings of an interstellar bounty hunter, she delves into the galaxy’s underworld to search out those most in need of help. Whether it’s a teenage runaway or an actor kidnapped by cultists, the victim comes first. Money is an afterthought. That confuses a lot of clients. But sometimes the best way to get someone to accept the help they need is to convince them to pay for it.

Good books awful language
Revisado: 03-26-25
The stories in these books are good but I couldn’t get past the vulgar blasphemy used by one of the characters. I had to stop listening because it was so offensive.

Jodi Taylor knocks it out of the park again!!!
Revisado: 07-18-23
Between the writing and the narration I am heartbroken to get to the end of each of these novels, thrilled by the story and the story teller , but heartbroken it’s over. Beyond brilliant isn’t strong enough to describe the story, story telling and how I feel the characters become friends and family to me by the end of each book.

Maybe it's a Southern thing
- De UpAndAway en 09-02-21
Good story but bad southern stereotypes
Revisado: 04-01-23
I liked the stories. The fact that the author thinks to be southern you can’t use proper grammar is annoying. There are some other reviews that mention the lack of common sense the main character has in the first book and I have to agree. The main character states she isn’t dumb and then can’t work a Kuerig and in the second book can’t put a dog in its harness. Overall the stories are pleasant but I doubt I will read the rest of the series.

Historia
Timothy Walter Bolton - better known as Timmy - has spent most of his life as a necromancer. When he isn't terrorising his enemies, he's plotting inside his castle, which is built on top of lightless chasms filled with nameless horrors and beings of a generally malevolent and megalomaniacal nature. But after one of his latest creations, a zombie hydra-dragon-bear, tries to eat him, he decides that maybe it's time to find a new, less dangerous, career.

The stories are great and the characters made me want to hang out and be friends. I think that is the mark of a great book, when I am sad it’s over because I will miss the characters.

Meg Langslow’s in for a busy summer. Her husband is directing a production of Macbeth, and most of the cast and crew are occupying spare bedrooms in their house. She also has to keep an eye on Camp Birnam, where a group of medieval reenactors are commemorating the real-life Macbeth by setting up what they fondly believe is an authentic medieval Scottish military camp. And then there’s Damien Goodwin, a filmmaker who has been hanging around, trying to document the production.

Dame Cecile Savoy's "revolting floor mop" of a Pekinese has passed away at a ripe old age. Now, the aging British actress convinces her rivals on stage and screen, Trixie and Evangeline, to support her in her hour of grief...by accompanying her to a taxidermist. But it's a cab ride straight to a cat-astrope! No sooner do the three elderly thespians enter "Stuff Yours" than they discover a dead body, a live kitty in a cage, and flames bursting from the back room. Fortunately for a rare Japanese bobtail called Cho-Cho-San, Trixie grabs the cat before fleeing the scene.

Funny characters, excellent plot!
Revisado: 03-03-21
This book was excellent! The characters were funny and they didn’t make stupid decisions. I hate it when authors make the characters do stupid things to forward the plot. Be creative and write the action into the story for a good reason. This book does exactly that.
