It is often the small, simple clarity that surprises us. When we realize we do not need to WORK at solutions as much as allow them

Historia
It’s 2006. After a string of rejections from men who tell her they could never, ever, ever see her “that way,” awkward third-grade teacher Micaela Blei signs up for a mysterious course called “The Divine Feminine,” and feels like she might have found the key to the perfect life. Turns out if you’re an A student, you can get an A in anything–including men. Pretty soon she’s learning to "conjure" her desires with vision boards, flirtations, and even a daring jumbotron viewing party for her, ahem ... "divine center."

Her story is an adult coming of age story-so genuine
Revisado: 01-19-25
First off I love the author: down-to-earth but very intelligent and quirky. Her communication style is perfect for the narrative. Ultimately I find it sad that SI NANY women have to endure all this hurtful nonsense about not being good enough SOS much so that when a real, decent guy comes along he must conquer her demons to even start to court her! Sister Micala is a breath of fresh air

Historia
Arlo Guthrie’s hilarious song “Alice’s Restaurant” became the inspiration for “Recreational Vehicle,” the true story of what happened when I accidentally left my wife at a truck stop. I write about where songs come from, how they can just appear right in front of you, or in the case of “Grandfather’s Hat,” in someone else’s offhand remark.

Wanting to tell audible stories myself, I loved hearing the inner voice and feelings of such an erudite performer! Thanks Jeff Daniels!

A remarkable parable for modern times
Revisado: 10-05-23
Raul Julia is perfect as our story-teller. The story is both whimsical & disturbing as it depicts how modern man is getting so lazy that nothing of any importance is getting done

This is revitalizing to me!
Revisado: 06-06-23
I am a 64-year-old husband, father & Grandfather that in recent years has lost his way. I see myself in this book many times & ever since the pandemic have felt the profound failure of a series of colossally stupid choices! This book encourages me once again as I needed to realize my superpower with renewed hope and (aka Spider Man) to stay cognizant of “with great power comes great responsibility” credo that encapsulates my ADHD. I need to stop feeling sorry for myself & use this gift for as much GOOD as I can muster before Heaven. Thanks Peter!!
