Historia
Christopher Phillips is a man on a mission: to revive the love of questions that Socrates inspired long ago in ancient Athens. He also recalls what led him to start his itinerant program and re-creates some of the most invigorating sessions, which come to reveal sometimes surprising, often profound reflections on the meaning of love, friendship, work, growing old, and others among Life’s Big Questions.

Revisado: 11-26-22
This was an excellent primer into beginning an exploration into philosophy.
I started a Socrates Café in Cambridge, MA.
We had 20+ members.
I learned alot.
It was a wonderful experience.

Historia
In The Righteous Mind, social psychologist Jonathan Haidt explores the origins of our divisions and points the way forward to mutual understanding. His starting point is moral intuition - the nearly instantaneous perceptions we all have about other people and the things they do. These intuitions feel like self-evident truths, making us righteously certain that those who see things differently are wrong. Haidt shows us how these intuitions differ across cultures, including the cultures of the political left and right.
