Historia
The planet of Caliban exists much as it has for thousands of years - the knightly orders protect the common people, fighting back the beasts that lurk in the depths of the seemingly endless forests. Young Zahariel and Nemiel aspire to join the greatest of the orders, led by the example of mighty Lion El'Jonson and his vision of a peaceful and unified world. But the coming of the Imperium brings new concerns and a new destiny for the Lion as part of the Great Crusade, and the sons of Caliban must decide if they will follow him to glory among the stars.

Doesn't fit with the previous books
Revisado: 01-11-24
This book seemed like it should've just been part of a Dark Angel's series... The previous books all tied in with each other really well in line with how and why Horus turned traitor and the acts he committed.

Historia
Miah Gray is a 27-year-old former army soldier living in rural New Hampshire with his sister, mother, and her boyfriend. He is plagued by PTSD, finding solace, but not redemption, with the aid of prescribed cannabis. All he wants to do is get high, relax with a good sandwich, and watch a meteor shower with his neighborhood crush, Jen. When the sun's light is blotted out the following morning and the world is plunged into darkness, Miah finds himself locked down with his family, covering windows with trash bags, lighting candles, and following the arcane rules of an ancient prophecy.

Amazing story from start to finish
Revisado: 07-23-21
I found the book based on recommendations because I love everything that RC Bray narrates. I was a little skeptical because I not familiar with the with the author but I honestly could not stop listening to the story. From the beginning to the end I was captivated. I honestly found chores to do around the house so that I could listen to this story. As a veteran myself I was able to relate to the main character and honestly understood his entire mindset as the story went on. I look forward to everything else that they have collaborated on

Fantastic ending to a spectacular series.
Revisado: 06-23-16
What can I say? This Series has been fantastic from the start. I listened to the entire trilogy on Audible. I was not sure about the narrator in the first book, but by the time I finished the series I was glad that I stuck with it. My only complaint was that sometimes it was hard to distinguish which character was speaking based on the narrator's voice. The story itself was fast paced and a great finish to one of the best sci-fi trilogies I've read/heard.

Historia
From Joshua Dalzelle comes the follow-up to the number-one best seller Warship. Captain Jackson Wolfe survived the initial incursion of a vicious alien species into human space...barely. He had assumed the juggernaut that had devastated three Terran systems was the herald for a full invasion, but for the last few years it has been eerily quiet along the Frontier. Jackson now struggles to convince the Confederate leadership the threat is still imminent and needs to be taken seriously.
