Historia
No country is as misunderstood as North Korea, and no modern tyrant has remained more mysterious than the Dear Leader, Kim Jong Il. Now, celebrity ghostwriter Michael Malice pulls back the curtain to expose the life story of the "Incarnation of Love and Morality". Taken directly from books spirited out of Pyongyang, Dear Reader is a carefully reconstructed first-person account of the man behind the mythology.

wow.
Revisado: 11-07-22
mind blowingly well written from a difficult perspective and incredibly insightful. I didn't know what to expect really going into this one I'm just generally a fan of the author and I was pleasantly surprised (and also a bit disturbed). worth reading for anyone who's curious about North Korea or just interested in imagining the way others might see the world through their propaganda or warped view. also it illuminates the fact that we ourselves might be viewing the world through our own specific lense.

Historia
In this characteristically turbocharged new book, celebrated Rolling Stone journalist Matt Taibbi provides an insider's guide to the variety of ways today's mainstream media tells us lies. In the internet age, the press have mastered the art of monetizing anger, paranoia, and distrust. Taibbi, who has spent much of his career covering elections in which this kind of manipulative activity is most egregious, provides a rich taxonomic survey of American political journalism's dirty tricks.

Historia
Nova Scotia, 1952. Not exactly the place you'd expect to run into pirates. But an old mariner, his boat driven ashore in a gale, brings with him enough stories about buccaneers and their lore to make it seem that he must have had firsthand experience of the pirate life. But how is that possible?

incredibly intriguing and illuminating with a great reader. the only small flaw I could complain about is that every hour or so there's a voice that announces that the CD is over and it's time to switch to the next disk. it was barely intrusive at all but I feel like having a warning ahead of time will allow you to mentally dismiss it more easily and enjoy the book more thoroughly, you're welcome friends 😊.

Historia
It started as a routine Miami to Charlotte flight for the passengers, crew, and Federal Air Marshal Stephen Mason. But a freak storm over the Atlantic propels the airliner unexplainably back in time to the early 18th century. They find themselves on the sparsely populated coast of the Carolina Colony. Charles Town is the only English settlement of any size in the area. It's an inhospitable place of vast plantations, slavery, hostile natives, tall ships, and marauding pirates.

Revisado: 10-16-20
I bought this book for the forward I'm not going to lie I've read almost every grahm Hancock book. that being said I'm very glad I did this is a brilliant and well written journey seeking truth an adventure in ancient wisdom. I have almost nothing in common with the author and yet I find it very easy to connect and identify with him. this book is so good I found myself savoring it and only allowing myself a few chapters a day so I wouldn't completely gorge myself and end up regretting the idea that it was over like a 3am Netflix binge. not only was this book enlightening and worth reading it's well worth reading again. I can't wait to hear more from this impressive author.

Graham Hancock has spent decades researching and writing some of the most ambitious and successful nonfiction investigations into ancient civilizations and wisdom. Entangled uses all of Hancock's skills and knowledge to propel a fantasy adventure like nothing else preceding it. This is a time-slip novel, alternating between present-day California, Brazil, and prehistoric Spain, with two teenage female protagonists who must come together to avert an incredibly bloodthirsty takeover of the human race.

Graham Hancock is an amazing author and luckily an amazing narrator. his take on the world is refreshing exciting insightful and more than likely accurate. I have every intention on reading every one of his books this is the third one I've read now and all have been of the same merit quality and enjoyment. lastly is the obligatory Joe Rogan mention because his podcast so many years ago is what led me to this profound author, so thanks joe and thank you Graham please keep writing and unveiling our mysterious and intriguing history.
