4.5 hockey hottie stars

Just as the new NHL season is ramping up, so is my reading of my hockey hotties.

I loved that this second installment of the Moo U series focuses more on the hockey side of the things, more than that farm side (don't get me wrong, I love all the Vermonty-farmy stuff, but the hockey has my heart 💜)

Lex is just all kinds of swoony. How any girl can resist him is beyond me. And our girl Kaitlyn tries.

And lord, did she try me! More and more as I read, I wanted to pull her aside ad tell her to pull her to remove head from sphincter! Sheesh, she frustrated me, and I was yelling at my reader for Lex to run, run away!

But as much as I wanted him to run, I needed them to get their HEA.

I loved seeing more of the hockey players, and there are more than a couple that I need to see more of in my future.

Great narration by Wilder and Lane (Lane is a new to me narrator and one I will listen to more),

Welcome to another installment of the Jameson Force series.

This is a fast paced, dangerous and sexy story set in the underworld of heists and illegal doings.

Saint and Sin -the ones that got away - are reunited for one last shebang, and sparks sure do fly. I couldn't wait to flick each page to see where Ms Bennett would take the story.

It was like reading a heist movie, and as I was reading, I was imagining it on a screen.

There were also some sadder moments, that I am hopeful we will get more of the story in the future.

Arden and Cartwright have done a wonderful job with this narration. I will say, I was worried about how the French accent would come across - thankfully, Julien does no come across like Pepe Le Pew like I was concerned with!

An enjoyable read, and I can't wait for the next installment.

Keaton is the bomb!

I like the friends to lovers trope. Gotta love a bit of that action. Throw in a fake relationship (that you know is going to turn real) and I am all in.

This was my first Kayley Loring story, so even though I wasn't all up to date with the other couples in this series, I enjoyed it.

I absolutely loved Keaton. He was kind and caring and has all the feels.

Roxy on the other hand I just couldn't with. She is a 35 year old woman, yet she acted out like a belligerent 13 year old throwing a tantrum for most of the book - she did get better in the last 20% of the book though. She finally grew up!

It was fun seeing the two "third wheels" become a real couple though, especially when putting on the act in front of strangers.

I enjoyed the push/pull between our lovelies - I just wish that Roxy wasn't such a cow to Keaton.

I did like the narrations. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favourite male narrators out there. He brought Keaton to life. I don't think I have listened to Mackenzie Cartwright before, she does have a lovely voice for story telling.

I would look out for more of this series in the future.

I liked this better than the first book

I enjoyed the first book in the Jameson series, but I really, really enjoyed Code Name: Sentinal.

Cruce and Barrett's story is a great romantic suspensy story with so much heat between our lovelies that you know that they are just going to burn up the sheets.

I did get frustrated at Barrett that time she did the one thing she was told not to do, and she had to know it was a stupid thing to do, right? Especially for someone at her genius level. However I know it had to play that way for the story to move forward. I wanted to slap her with my Kindle though!

I love the big, apha-y men of Jameson security. it was great getting more of Kynan and Joslyn, and there are so many great characters that just need to have their story told *cough cough Saint cough cough*

Jason Clarke is a pretty new to me narrator, and I enjoyed listening to him. I have not listened to Lucy Rivers before. Both narrators truly brought Cruse and Barrett's story to life.

I will be looking out for them in the future.

I laughed so much whilst listening

I have been looking forward to this story since I first heart it was happening. A favourite author and a favourite narrator collaborating to write a story - let me at it!

Heidi's crush her neighbour is just the cutest thing. I was laughing so hard as I was listening as she floundered around him. Whilst she is no virgin, she just doesn't have that knack of talking to guys she likes. And don't get me started on her blushing at the tamest of dirty words.

The authors and the narration are great at bringing out her quirky nature. I loved the way she comes out of her shell, with the help of her podcast and her new friends.

Now, all I know about the Minnesota accent is what I have heard in movies set in the area, so going by that, Andi Arndt nailed it. She brings Heidi to life and I didn't want to stop listening.

Sivec and Arndt need to write more stories together. Not matter which way you devour this book, you are going to love it.

Only the second Audiobook I have ever finished.

I already loved this book, and I was wary about the audiobook, as I have tried many before and the narrators have not been good to me

But I listened to the first chapter of Triple Play and I was hooked.

Greg Boudreaux was fabulous. There are so many main characters that they could have all combined into one. But Greg gave each character a very distinctive voice, I was easily able to distinguish who I was listening to.

I would have loved to have listened in one sitting, but I had to make do with listening on my walks to and from work this past week.

This book has also made me go back and try audiobooks again, and I have since purchased about a dozen more, impatiently waiting for me in my library.

Thank you Ms Johnson and Mr Boudreaux for making me try audiobooks again
