I only do books on audio and had been dreaming of this one. It lived up to every dream. And Michael remains my favorite narrator!

Worth the push

I had a hard time connecting with the characters in the first few chapters but I am so glad that I pushed through because I ended up loving this!
Obi did a great job, as always. Except that Lucas, born in Oklahoma and lives in Cincinnati, randomly became ?British? during the short stories. It was weird.

Narrator didn’t do it for me

The story was fine but I couldn’t finish it. I can see narrator being great for some people but it wasn’t for me. His basic speech was done in the same way that other narrators do fight or sex scenes. He was dramatic even when the characters were eating eggs. The British accent wasn’t really bad but I think it came off bad because of the voice he chose to use. I’m going to try reading this title on my kindle. DNF

God save me from the valley girl narrator

DNF I have NEVER DNFd and the story might’ve been ok but I could NOT get past the narrator’s voice. I’ve not liked a voice before but listened to it far enough that I got used to it - I made it to about 50% on this and couldn’t do it

Surprisingly down to earth

This is the first review I have written. I’ve never read a ménage novel before and happened upon this one by chance without having listened to the rest of the series. A lot of the reviews have complained about the narrator but I thought she did amazing! The story flowed, there was no unnecessary drama and it all felt believable!
