The emcee quits, and to make matters worse, Tessa’s daughters are suspects in the murder.

I might have given this title more stars. It was so difficult to listen to. Jacobs timing seemed very off and initially I tried to change the speed to see if that helped. It didn’t.
But in fairness to the author I wanted to listen through to the end. Now I have to say, I don’t have a lot of exposure to the cozy mystery genre. I do adore mysteries and tend to read longer stories with really well developed plot lines. This was not a complicated story. It was somewhat light hearted -given that it is about murder. But the murder seemed secondary in this story, which was chock full of other endearing moments-glass beads, cute cars, funky neighbor gals and cats....all made for an overall enjoyable read.....and next time, I will actually do the reading.
