What did you love best about Wicca for Beginners?

I really appreciated how the writing was very honest, straightforward, and easy to digest.

What did you like best about this story?

The author supplies just enough to get you started and curious to learn more about how to approach Wicca as a daily part of life.

Overall, the book was very insightful and is a good tool to obtain basic knowledge about Wicca. Also, Taj was a fantastic choice as the narrator for this title. His approach to the text seemed very open, almost like a teacher, and his soothing tone served to keep me engaged throughout.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Certainly was. Despite the story not being my cup of tea and very difficult to follow with its jumpy storytelling at times, there was nothing particularly undesirable with this book. I knew what I was getting into when I decided to listen to this. Anyway, should definitely be noted that Nicholas has a flair for creating a dark mood from start to finish. He's the reason I made my way through to the end.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Lukewarm. I unfortunately couldn't get attached to any of the characters, but the ending itself was creative and left me smirking.

Which character – as performed by Nicholas Patrella – was your favorite?

Would have to say the lead, Joe. He was the most consistent throughout and easy enough to follow.

Did The White Flamingo inspire you to do anything?

No, which is a shame.

Any additional comments?

If you enjoy dark, old-style detective stories with compelling, gruesome situations, this would be what I'd recommend. And if Nicholas is the narrator for it, you should feel that much more compelled to do so.

Much more than just kinky roleplay sex fantasies

If you could sum up Licking Lollipops in three words, what would they be?

Arousing. Engrossing. Eye-opening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Licking Lollipops?

Gosh, so much was wonderful, but Leilani's meeting with Sharkara permanently pulled me in to keep listening. Their intimacy was so vulnerable and honest, but it was how it ended that really surprised and reminded me of things that really hit home for me.

What does Marami Hung and Leon Dollet bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Their voices and performance made SUCH a difference in the overall experience in and out of the bedroom. Marami's casual and intimately silky voice is 100% love. Her commitment to each individual character is truly impressive, even if she is the author. Leon's classy, velvet sound influenced my attitude towards characters in many situations that may have fallen short on paper.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Leilani and Sharkara for sure, but I also loved how well the ending came together. You would never think it to be an erotic novel if you listened to it first. Marami brings such clarity and closure to Leilani's character that I couldn't help but smile widely, wishing there was more.

Any additional comments?

You always go into erotic novels expecting the usual suspects. Though when an erotic novel genuinely surprises you, leaving you with many things you didn't expect from a story that initially appeared predictable, you can't help but acknowledge it. Marami delivers fun, kinky sex, a dash of humor, AND the unexpected underlying theme with such creative grace that did more for me than tease my own fantasies. Much recommended and would absolutely listen to this again! Sincerely hoping for a sequel~

Marami's performance was consistent and attention-gripping well before the moments leading to the intimate moments. She made an otherwise predictable sex fantasy romp into something more than I expected to experience in my ears. A+ narration!
