Perfectly Fun
Revisado: 10-23-22
I don't usually read mysteries or thrillers because I'm a pretty sensitive person and get creeped out easily. This book was absolutely perfect! Perfectly mysterious air, great plot twists, and an end that makes you feel like you need to go back and re-read the entire book. I was so enthralled every with every page.

Historia
The one thing you never talk about while you’re in the Scholomance is what you’ll do when you get out. Not even the richest enclaver would tempt fate that way. But it’s all we dream about: the hideously slim chance we’ll survive to make it out the gates and improbably find ourselves with a life ahead of us, a life outside the Scholomance halls. And now the impossible dream has come true. I’m out, we’re all out. We saved everyone. So much for my great-grandmother’s prophecy of doom and destruction. Ha, only joking! Actually, it’s gone all wrong.

A Let Down
Revisado: 10-16-22
After the first two books in the series I had high hopes for this one and it was a disappointment. Even if we disregard the two lesbian love scenes that have absolutely no point in being there, the book still wasn't as well thought through and flushed out as the other two. The parts of the storyline that were critical to the story went way too fast with not enough detail. The author does get around to explaining everything after the critical parts so the story does end up making sense, but only just barely. I really wanted to come away from this book saying "YES! I'm recommending this to everyone!" but after this third book I don't think I'd really recommend the series to anyone anymore :/

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Funny
Revisado: 07-12-22
Such a great way of informing people about a serious issue. You can tell that Trevor Noah is a comedian and it shows in his delivery of the stories of his youth. That being said, the book is laid out like a comedy show and isn't chronological so it jumps around quite a bit timeline and topic wise. Just a note that the book does contain explicit language.

Historia
You are about to go back in time to the Wild West of the 1800s. These true, real-life adventures were told first-hand by Elijah Nicholas Wilson. He was a cavalry spy, hired to track down murdering bands of Indians. Before that he was a stagecoach driver on roads filled with outlaws. Before that he was one of the first Pony Express riders and was chased by Indians who nearly killed him with arrows. And before that he was a bronc buster who accepted a bet to ride the meanest bucking horse in the west.

Great way to learn history
Revisado: 06-28-22
Such a good story! Historically accurate so it makes it a fun way to learn about the West. The audio book also has great sound effects that make the story that much more real.
