The Jigsaw Blade is an engrossing, exciting epic fantasy that doesn't even take itself seriously, mixing adventure with magic swords and dinosaurs.

Highly Emotional

It's a good thing I listened to the audiobook because I spent a lot of time crying my eyes out. These characters endure so much, and they keep going in spite of it. The author's brilliant insight into the psychology of disabilities made me completely feel connected to the characters. Each story in the collection just keeps getting better.
the narrator did a beautiful job. His voice is quite pleasing to listen to and he was fabulous in how he helped bring each character alive.
I wish I coukd rate this SIX stars.

WHEW!

A wild, complex story that starts off with the characters getting into position. Then BANG! The race is on. With wonderful twists and turns, I went back and forth deciding who I should be rooting for. By the end, things are moving at breathtaking speed. And just when it looks like it's going to be a photo finish, another twist pops up.

Cute story

The story is very cute. It has more than a few surprises and suspenseful moments so I couldn't put it down. The characters are wonderful. I have only two small complaints. There is too much modern language that slips through although most of the book is written in the vernacular of the period. And descriptions sound like a checklist and are often contradictory. Still, the story is well worth reading.
The narrator is wonderful. she does a beautiful job with subtle intonation to capture the different attitudes of various characterz.

This story is so much fun. the characters are so well written I found myself talking to them. "You fool! Don't do that!" And the narrator did a lovely job. Her portrayals of the different characters is simply delightful.

Mimi and her sisters reminded me so much of me and my sisters I could relate to all the family stuff: the pretty one, the smart one, the athletic one... the story is a lot of fun. I particularly loved how Mimi describes the writers of her life and convoluted love interests. The narrator is perfect.

I had a hard time not listening to the audiobook start to finish. The story is thoroughly engrossing. Just when things felt like they were calming down, more excrement hits the fan. The narrator is absolutely fabulous. his accents are lovely. The characters are so complex I feel like they're dear friends.

caution, do not attempt to multitask while listening to these books. I put a chicken and some potatoes in the oven and thought, "one chapter, maybe two."
too many hours later I pulled a chicken-shaped chunk of charcoal out of the oven. these books are that good, the narrator is absolutely fantastic, and the characters are so intriguing that even though there are a lot of different characters it isn't confusing. I can not recommend this book too much.

EPIC, Emotional, Exciting.

WOWZA! NO... FREAKIN' WOWZA!
A nail-biter from the first, I quickly became emotionally invested in the characters. Intrigue, secrets (hard to do when emotions are literally written on your arm) and mystery. Prophecy. Politics. And a planet destroyed by a star going nova. Such a wonderfully complex plot.
The narrator did a fantastic job. I loved the unusual accents the characters had.
