Great follow up
Revisado: 01-09-23
It was very interesting to see how the world developed after the last book. This timeline is much more my speed than the older world. I look forward to the next.

Historia
Sam Vimes is on a well-deserved holiday. But for the commander of the City Watch, a vacation in the country is anything but relaxing. The balls, the teas, the muck - not to mention all that fresh air and birdsong - are more than a bit taxing on a cynical city-born and -bred copper. Yet a policeman will find a crime anywhere if he decides to look hard enough, and it’s not long before a body is discovered, and Sam - out of his jurisdiction, out of his element, and out of bacon sandwiches (thanks to his well-meaning wife) - must rely on his instincts, guile, and street smarts to see justice done.

Historia
Of course, if there were only one thing under Liscor, there would be far less to fear. However, the dungeon continues to be a threat. At the same time, Goblins continue to roam northern Izril, but not all of them are as hostile to people as Tremborag or the Goblin Lord. Will the Unseen Emperor of Riverfarm make that distinction, however? A reckoning is coming as old faces and new reemerge. And all the while, The Wandering Inn is still serving food and respite and even plays to adventurers and Antinium alike. But something is coming from the dungeons. And it—they—are hungry.

Historia
For most kids, catching fireflies is a fun summer activity. For twelve-year-old Serwa Boateng, it's a matter of life and death. That's because Serwa knows that some fireflies are really adze, shapeshifting vampires from the forests of Southeastern Ghana. Adze prey on the blood of innocents, possessing their minds and turning them into hulking monsters, and for generations, slayers like Serwa and her parents have protected an unknowing public from their threats.

Kinda racist but otherwise great.
Revisado: 10-12-22
Both named white characters are antagonists, one comes off as the other very racist. While the protagonist are almost every other race. It did tackle racism well for the most part but allot of scenes where jarring and needless if not random, you could remove all but 1 and it wouldn’t effect anything at all.
That being said it was otherwise a great story, i loved learning about the culture, would be great to go more into the mythology, it overall great plot and characters. The author very skilled and problems aside i enjoyed it. If it wasn’t for the former issues id definitely recommend it and hope for a sequel.

It was ok
Revisado: 06-12-22
The last story is worth the price on its own the rest are interesting, I did skip a few to get to the last, I honestly didn’t care about them much, might listen another time. Hopefully Riordan starts a new series with more Celtic lore.
