First off this could be a really great series except for one huge issue. These books are plagued with horribly written sex acts from sodomy to incest and everything in between . This series is a harem series in the long run and you should know that going in. The over all concept is awesome and really enjoy the story until the sex scenes. It’s not that I’m a prude it’s just that they are soooo bad and sooo poorly written. It’s as if a middle school kid is writing these scenes. Sadly I’m 8 books deep and want to see it through but would have likely never started this had I known that deep down these books are a harem series. Low brow humor I expected because of the title but the stupid sex scenes just distract from an otherwise great story.

If you aren’t into Harem style Books with gratuitous sex, sodomy, rape then maybe sit this series out.

Why is so much sodomy necessary

Let me begin by saying I really like these books and the story is interesting but I don’t understand the fixation with “ass rape” as a theme in this book. It’s so distracting and poorly placed I really wanted to stop listening. On one hand you have Boxy and interesting protagonist and behind him a female fiend that can grow a penis to ass rape her female counterpart. What?!? Like where does that even fit the overall theme of the book.

I totally expected and welcome a bit of low brow humor he’ll the name of the series give that away but having to read “Do you think if I put my giant D!ck in her A$$ it would come out of her mouth?!? I mean seriously Neven your a better author than that and have to recognize this is ridiculous.

So basically story is great if you can trudge last the regular graphic sodomy references.

Fun concept

Never thought about combining the world's of magic and steampunk but it works. I'd definitely be interested in hearing more from this world. The narrator could slow down just a touch a but all in all it was a good story.

A fun adventure.

Darren has crafted a fun little universe and take on the Litrpg genre. He didnt go overboard with ratteling off stats, which is a trait some authors suffer from. I don't want to hear character sheets read through multiple times in one read.

The narration is a little less to be desired but it's still worth a credit.

Once again John Lee brings the colorful world created by Terry Mancour to life with flawless execution. These books continue to get better and leave you wanting more. I cannot wait to start the next one!

Harry Potter for College SuperHeros

This was a fun book to listen to. Excellent character development that leaves you wanting more. The only real issues I had was at times the narrators off somehow when he said things like "Nick Said" or "Mary replied" best to describe it was it sounds like these were soundboarded ane rhe volume and tone didnt always match what was just said.

All that aside this book it definitely worth a credit. Looking forward to book 2.

great twist in the Litrpg genre.

a refreshing break from the guy lives in a virtual world template seen in many Litrpg books. Blaise sets up the series with an interesting plot line that leaves the reader (listener) wanting more. The Narration by Jess Hays is flawless as to be expected with his performances.

Jeff Hays brings another story to life. This was a fun book to listen to and the narration by Hays was spot on as usually. The only complaints about the book is the narration of the character sheets. I feel like is was done to often with little relevance to the book. More than once I found myself skipping past those scenes.
