Historia
As dusk approaches a small Dublin suburb in the summer of 1984, mothers begin to call their children home. But on this warm evening, three children do not return from the dark and silent woods. When the police arrive, they find only one of the children gripping a tree trunk in terror, wearing blood-filled sneakers, and unable to recall a single detail of the previous hours. Twenty years later, the found boy, Rob Ryan, is a detective on the Dublin Murder Squad and keeps his past a secret.

Read this book if you crave disappointment
Revisado: 01-19-22
If you love that feeling of listening to 18 to 19 hours of a 20 hour book and then desperately checking the remaining time because you are starting to get this sick feeling in your stomach that is there isn't enough time left for the mystery introduced in the PROLOGUE, for God's sake, to be resolved, then you will LOVE this book. I am so pissed. I always read reviews before buying a book...except this time. Had I bothered to read even a few reviews, I would have easily avoided my intense disappointment. Its such a shame-- the author writes beautifully...its just that the story was complete and utter crap.

Historia
For every Christian who’s deeply fulfilled, there are many more who are “doing all the right things” but still feel frantic or frustrated…or who have decided that Christianity’s a failure. What’s missing? Like so many believers, Bob George began his Christian life in love with Jesus, only to end up feeling disappointed and empty. Drawing on those struggles and his years of teaching and counseling experience, Bob cuts straight to the heart of the issues.
