Historia
There's a reason We Are Legion was named Audible's Best Science Fiction Book of 2016: Its irresistibly irreverent wit! Bob Johansson has just sold his software company for a small fortune and is looking forward to a life of leisure. The first item on his to-do list: Spending his newfound windfall. On an urge to splurge, he signs up to have his head cryogenically preserved in case of death. Then he gets himself killed crossing the street. Waking up 117 years later, Bob discovers his mind has been uploaded into a sentient space probe with the ability to replicate itself.

Fantastic!

I love this book! I'm so glad it's part of a series; the ending would seem a bit abrupt otherwise. It's a fantastic story, well written and fun. The narrator is one of the very best out there.

Continues to be a favorite!

I fell in love with this novel in paperback, and it's one of the few trilogies worth reading more than once. That said, that audiobook is done so very well, with a reader who skilfully finds voices for male and female, young and old, with exceptional ease.
Bottom line: the audible version is well worth it, and worth listening to again and again.

Historia
Olivia Gordon works at the Horse Farm, a facility that assists patients with mental and physical recovery; her specialty is animal therapy. She's always loved her job, always felt safe…until now. People are dying, starting with the facility's founder, whose body is discovered in a ravine on the property - site of a massacre in 1862. And before every death, Liv sees a horse and rider, wearing a soldier's garb, in the night sky. Warning? Omen? Or clue?

Not this author's best work, but decent
Revisado: 02-11-17
The story was good, if a bit too similar to her previous books in this series. I'm not overly fond of this trend in paranormal series in which it seems like the same outline is used repeatedly, with little more than a change of names and locales. if the Krew picks up a new recruit with every single case, with nothing more to recommend them than the ability to communicate with the dead, the FBI is going to be overrun with unqualified agents.
My biggest complaint with this book, however, was the narrator. I'm sure he's a good voice actor, but I found the accents and especially the women's voices jarring and annoying. It's hard to stay immersed in a story when you're disliking the characters because of their irritating voice, or jarred by an incredibly fake voice.
