Historia
Former detective sergeant Norman Norman’s retirement is boring him to tears. But the training has barely begun when a woman’s corpse washes up on the sand. With no reports of missing persons, DS Norman is stumped...until the post-mortem reveals a shocking hint to the culprit being local. But with a growing list of suspects who all have alibis, the experienced cop and his fledgling team’s first case could be their last.

Very Entertaining!
Revisado: 04-12-25
Great book! If you are a fan of DI Nikki Galena or Jackman & Evans, I think you'll like this one. The takedown of the overly officious jerk from Regional by the new DI is epic. Great characters, even though they aren't fully developed yet. Good plot that moved along quite nicely. I'm now listening to the second book in the series and it's just as good.

Meh - Skip This One
Revisado: 04-08-25
Not impressed. The main character is annoying, self centered and critical. I made it about half way thru and then gave up. Plot is so-so. Narrator does a good job though. I'm skipping the rest of the series.

Absolutely Hilarious! LMAO!!!!
Revisado: 04-02-25
I've never read anything by this author, nor have I listened to any books read by Wil Wheaton. So I had no idea what to expect. OMG this book was hilarious. Fast paced and interesting. Different and amusing. Wheaton as narrator added the perfect sarcastic touch. I really wish it was part of a series. I also wish someone would make a movie out of the book. The dolphins and the whales at the end were the perfect touch. LOL! LMAO! If you want an entertaining, interesting and fun listen, this is your book.

Historia
A pool boy enters a secluded Bel Air property and discovers two bodies floating in the bright blue water: Gio Aggiunta, the playboy heir to an Italian shoe empire, and a gorgeous, even wealthier neighbor named Meagin March. A married neighbor. An illicit affair stoking rage is a perfect motive. But a “double” in this neighborhood of gated estates isn’t something you see every day. The house is untouched. No forced entry, no forensic evidence. The case has “that feeling,” and when that happens, Milo turns to his friend, the brilliant psychologist Alex Delaware.

Narrator is Horrible
Revisado: 04-01-25
Up until this one, I've read all of the novels. So this was my first Kellerman/Alex Delaware audio book. I'll read the next one. The narrator was horrible. Sounds like an old man. Can't do female voices, and has a limited range of male voices. I managed to get half way thru the book and gave up. They need a better actor reading the book.

The New York Times best-selling author of Magpie Murders and Moriarty brilliantly reinvents the classic crime novel once again with this clever and inventive mystery starring a fictional version of the author himself as the Watson to a modern-day Holmes, investigating a case involving buried secrets, murder, and a trail of bloody clues.

Narrator Ruins the Book
Revisado: 03-20-25
For the part I did listen to, the story was good and characters were interesting. The narrator, OTOH, ruined it for me and I finally quit listening and removed the book from my library. Almost no variance between characters and a fake sounding TX accent. I don't recommend. Buy the book and read it.

Historia
Michael Crichton, creator of Jurassic Park, ER, Twister, and Westworld, had a passion project he’d been pursuing for years, ahead of his untimely passing in 2008. Knowing how special it was, his wife, Sherri Crichton, held back his notes and the partial manuscript until she found the right author to complete it: James Patterson, the world’s most popular storyteller.

Totally Believeable...Now.
Revisado: 02-27-25
Those complaining in their reviews that the storyline is over the top, that the military would never screw up like this, etc. must have listened to the book last year (2024). Listen to it now...and picture the over the top billionaire as Elon, Flynn as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Hegseth as Sec Def, and the overall current admin. Suddenly the political wrangling, the power plays, the blame game and all the screw ups become very believable.
With that in mind, I'm also LMAO as I listen to this book. Fast paced and very entertaining. Narrarator does a great job.

I didn't like this one as much as previous books. I could have done without the whole biological clock storyline. Wasn't crazy about the Foz/Vera storyline either. I'd have liked more plot, less personal.

Scotland has a dead body problem. Another one. And in the wake of a similar spate of tribute killings, Special Agents Luke Kendrick and Carly MacDonald know they have their work cut out for them. Working alongside a new team of agents, the partners have more questions than answers when the crime scenes yield little evidence. In the style of infamous killers Burke and Hare, it appears victims are being moved to a secondary location, where they’re dissected and sold for spare parts.

Don't Bother
Revisado: 01-31-25
I had hoped this would be better than the first book in the series, but alas, it is not. Writing is formal and stilted. Narrator is choppy. There is no real difference in the voices between characters. Like book 1, I made it to chapter 4, gave up, and went to the next to the last chapter. I usually love the regular Krewe books, but this specific collection just isn't as good. Save your money and buy one of the regular Krewe of Hunter stories.
