I never buy a book in this genre that isn’t read by the author. It’s amazing what undercover agents must do to keep us all safe. Well written and read by the author

I thought this was an eye opening account of the truth regarding the family and how one person in your family has ripples for everyone else. Definitely a cost. I have to believe that the hardships we face are wait creates our strength and how we handle them creates our character. I enjoyed the book and I always prefer listening to a memoir narrated by the author. Worth the listen

Best audio book I have listened too in a long time

I enjoyed the added background sounds and songs throughout the book. I also enjoyed the passion that comes from the person who lived it is also narrating it
I would recommend this read/listen to anyone. Fan or not of Will Smith
I gave 5 stars for all areas because he it the mark on all. I can’t say anything negative about this book. It was his life and he told it passionately.

As with all Eckhart Tolle’s books this one is so worth the time and money! I enjoy listening to him speak his written word. There is something so peaceful about his voice. I always prefer listening to the author narrating their own books and I’m so glad he did!
Insightful, enlightening, reassuring, positive and powerful! What is your relationship with the “Now”? That is a powerful statement from this book and puts everything into perspective. Thank you again Mr.Tolle, well done!

I really enjoyed this book. JD Vance was a great narrator and great to listen to. His story was about a boys life growing up a “hillbilly”. It’s sad to hear all that he went thru and how much adult decisions affect children.

Parts were interesting

This book was ok. Parts were interesting but I felt like it was a book giving life lessons and (do’s and don’ts) for living ones life. I was bored with parts and couldn’t wait for it to finish. It seemed (to me) more like it was a father giving life lessons to the child and being talked down to during some parts of the book.
