Yes, I have listened to all of the HR novels.
This is by far the best of the lot which isn’t saying much. It helps that Claudia Gray is an established author and not an outsourced comic-book writing goon that Disney decided to commission on the cheap. The other books have zero character development and they feel like rancid fan fiction.
Gray’s book is slightly more focused and the characters are more appropriately handled for a novel.

Sub-par narration

This is a sub-par narration of a great story read at an inconsistent pace. Is GRRM contractually obligated to outsource his works to middling actors from the T.V series? The original audio performance of this story, by Frank Muller, is superior in every way. I am so sick of terrible English accents in fantasy books. I think the dialogue from this audio book was recorded in one session.
Save your money, or credit, and purchase the original version in "Legends: Stories of the Masters of Fantasy, volume 4". Or better yet, just read the book. Seriously, it's better than this trash performance. Quality matters. S***ty B list actors don't cut it when there are quality voice actors out there.
