This was a random listen for me. Now, I’m so hooked on the author and the narrator, both did an amazing job . I felt every emotion that’s humanly possible. Five stars across the board!

This book was amazing!! It might be triggering for some due to the details regarding child abuse and trauma. But if you’re able to READ/LISTEN TO THIS BOOK please do!! It speaks so eloquently of the love of God.. All while not being overly churchy (for those who have an issue with that). Sara/Angel’s story is not my story but it was so relatable in the sense of finding my identity in Christ vs things and circumstances. I am throughly invested! The narrator also did an amazing job!

I absolutely love CCJ! I love how she makes her books so relatable. Wesleigh Siobhan brings her characters to life, I love her transitions from feminine to masculine voices. I’m new to Winston James and I am not disappointed. I can’t lie, I wanted more from this story (it’s just me being greedy). It actually ended perfectly with all questions answered. I hope we get more from the extended characters, I have no doubt that CCJ will come through :)
