Sentimental and Shallow

Because of my fond memories of reading Max Lucado in the 2000's, I thought this might be an enjoyable read while I was out and about during the holidays. I was sadly disappointed. This collection of old sermons seemed so out of touch and shallow.

A great story poorly told

The overuse of cliches, tiresome exaggeration, and unnecessary drama make this audio book unbearable. After 45 minutes of listening in the car, my husband had me google the outcome. The sound bites are great, but the listening to the narrator is stressful.
