AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL NARRATION!!

I only finished listening to this book because the story is great. However the narrator turned all the characters into whiny sheepish individuals. The men sounded like scared little boys who would be afraid of their own shadows and the women sounded like super nagging harpies. They all sounded like they belonged in a skit on an episode of the Monty Python Show. I absolutely loved this book when I read it in high school 25 years ago but this narrator almost ruined it for me.

3 years audible? I am glad to see audible finally recognized the demand for this series. But please don’t make us wait three more years for the rest of the books. I have already preordered book 3 that will be released on Sept 25.

I was first introduced to Harry Keogh by accident in the 10th grade 23 years ago when I read(out of order) Deadspeak. My mind was blown and I was instantly hooked. I have read every piece of literature i could find regarding the Necroscope world. To be able to finally listen to this book on audible was amazing. When are the next books coming out in English??

Not sure, but I think a lot of people might actually enjoy it.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I did like hearing a little more about the time Rolands ka-tet spent traveling, but I wanted more of their story and less of the story within the story.
Any additional comments?
This book for me really didn't stand up to the quality of the other books of the series.

Not abridging it!
Has Area 51 turned you off from other books in this genre?
No. But all the books need to be read unabridged!
What about Colin Stinton’s performance did you like?
His performance was excellent, for the abridged part that he read.

What the hell did I just listen too!!?? This guy has got the be the worst narrator that I have ever listened too. Couple that with the terrible quality and that makes this probably one of the worst audiobooks I have ever listened to. Mispronunciations of words, pronouncing the same words different ways, starting and stopping after mistakes, background noise!! How did this get published like this?? Was this a prank or a dare? I want my money back!
