Bullet Riddled is the full unabridged disclosure of what happened during his storied career; including the brutal morning of the Columbine Massacre. Wow! Absolutely a must read!

If you could sum up Bullet Riddled in three words, what would they be?
Real Unsung Heroes
What did you like best about this story?
Such an honest, heartfelt look into the people who put their lives on the line for others. Even those who don't rise to the level of SWAT are heroes for stepping into a job where they are shot at, ridiculed and vilified in the press. Should be required reading for all students - for everyone!
Have you listened to any of J. Scott Bennett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is my first audio book by Bennett. It was very easy to listen to - I enjoyed it very much.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did listen to it all in one sitting - I couldn't stop. We lived 2 miles from Columbine and shopped at the Albertson's Grocery store. I haven't been able to read anything about those days until recently. I'll never forget the funerals with police officers standing shoulder to shoulder all around the inside walls of the church. They literally stand between us and every bad thing that happens. This book should be used as a discussion in every middle school and high school.
Any additional comments?
The book didn't just focus on Columbine, but covered many other events in the area. The author very elegantly shows the humanity in these officers - just trying to do a tough job. Somehow we need to do a better job of getting truth out instead of letting the press determine the story.

Cute story about accepting ourselves
Revisado: 06-07-16
What did you love best about A Turtle's Magical Adventure?
The message is a good one: everyone is different for a reason. We are made for different purposes and should celebrate those differences. Have confidence in who you are and don't let the meanness of others bother you.
What did you like best about this story?
Imagery of the story; that all children experience the desire to be different and we waste a lot of time searching for a way to change ourselves. There is always a cost for wanting to change who you are. Also has a great message of how to be a good friend to someone who is struggling.
What three words best describe Mercedes Phillips’s voice?
Gentle, expressive, enunciated
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Be happy being a turtle, or whatever you are!
Any additional comments?
Age appropriate help: talks about teachers and students being mean, punishment of the wizard is death (boiling) which doesn't take place. Good lesson on being a friend, not making fun of others, finding the positive

Undeniably excellent!

If you could sum up Undeniably You in three words, what would they be?
Romantic Funny Journey
Who was your favorite character and why?
Sydney Montgomery - the main character. Surprisingly candid, funny and zany. She has life all planned, until she meets Lautner.
What does Tracy Marks bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
One of the best audio books I've ever listened to. Loved Tracy Marks - pleasant, relaxing voice that made all the characters really believable and real.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed many times at the thoughts going through Sydney's head. I wanted to sit the girl down and help her get her priorities straight!
Any additional comments?
This book didn't feel rushed. Ann took time to develop the characters and the relationships while keeping a lot of mystery in play about whether or not anyone would end up happy and where they should be in life.
