Audible needs some work on collection indexing

This is a great addition to any who want dive deeper into more of Sanderson's universe. Although i didnt love all the stories, The Emporer's Souls is one of his BEST works. I would love for more of her story to be explored in future works if possible. Another appreciated aspect of this collection are the tidbits of revelation from Sanderson on his thoughts about each work whether it be the process of how he created a particular character, magic, or story, or some hindsight on a world.
on a technical note it was quite frustrating to try and locate any particular story within the collection and had to jump around a lot to find what i wanted to listen/relisten to at any given time.
all in all a good listen if youve just finished any of what's available of one his series and want something to ease you back into reality.

half great book, half movie action fodder

I was immediately entranced by the beautifully narrated and thought provoking introduction of this book, however the repetitive gung ho fights and language become tiresome and feel forced simply by the authors preference as opposed to a natural feeling aspect of character and environment. The interactions with the primary antagonist all feel disappointing based on what it is supposed to be.
overall it was an enjoyable story to listen to by a perfect narrator choice, and if made-for-a -hopeful-movie action doesnt bother you, id recommend it.
