Predictable but good
Revisado: 04-28-25
The books had very similar storylines; however, I really enjoyed the series. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was every guy was 6’4 and built, and all the girls were just absolutely gorgeous. That is very overplayed and not realistic.

Historia
In my perfect world I would be selling gourmet donuts, creating art that people loved, be married to my high school sweetheart, live in an adorable dream house. I had big plans for my life once, but nothing was turning out like I thought it would. One day I looked in the mirror and the strong, creative girl of my childhood wasn’t smiling back at me anymore. My aunt must’ve known something that I didn’t, because when she left me her cottage on Sweetwater Island, a tiny spark lit inside me. Could this be a second chance at the life I always dreamed of?

Sweet, small town, Romance
Revisado: 12-29-24
This was a perfect read. It was sweet. It had a small town. And it was romance. The characters were fun and pull the story all together.

This book was the sweetest and most endearing book I read of hers so far. It’s a story about women and friendship with other women. Five star.

Nice southern romance with a mystery
Revisado: 12-06-24
I enjoy the story. I usually like this narrator; however, some of the Mississippi accents were a little hard to listen to. Overall, I enjoyed the book.

Historia
My fiancé brought me tea and scrambled eggs in bed that morning, and we snuggled together, talking about buying our rings, and about our perfect wedding next year. Then we headed into town. He held my hand and gazed at the ring I liked best, a smile spreading slowly over his face. Then a glass of bubbly to celebrate. I felt flushed, excited and ready for the rest of my life with the man I loved. We race to get on the train home. It screams to a halt and I run towards its open doors. Made it. I think he’s right behind me — but when I turn around, he’s gone.

The last few chapters
Revisado: 12-02-24
I initially liked the story; however, the last few chapters just dropped off and ended without a good ending. None of it was tied up, and it left me going “really that is the end”?
