Historia
The new question: Ten years after the worldwide bestseller Good to Great, Jim Collins returns to ask: Why do some companies thrive in uncertainty, even chaos, and others do not? In Great by Choice, Collins and his colleague, Morten T. Hansen, enumerate the principles for building a truly great enterprise in unpredictable, tumultuous, and fast-moving times. The new study: Great by Choice distinguishes itself from Collins’s prior work by its focus on the type of unstable environments faced by leaders today.

Best in his catalogue!!!
Revisado: 04-10-19
Perhaps it's my stage in life and experiences gained, but "it all clicked " for me in this book. I appreciate the theoretical/empirical components just as much as the practical ones. Thank you for this undertaking and resource!!!

Ridiculously Good!!!
Revisado: 03-30-17
The timing of this book in my life couldn't have been any better-- well almost couldn't (just agreed to terms on a new home purchase, 2 weeks ago, arrrghhh). However, I was listening during negotiations for my consulting fees--"Cha-Ching"!!! The techniques used are clearly stated and reinforced with vivid experiences from the author. The content is engaging, empowering, and applicable. I would strongly recommend this book for anyone who wants to get over the anxiety of advocating for your worth and getting some bonuses you didn't even know we're possible. Thank you kindly Sir for the gift of this tool!

Historia
Nobody who works hard should be poor in America, writes Pulitzer Prize-winner David Shipler. Clear-headed, rigorous, and compassionate, he journeys deeply into the lives of individual store clerks and factory workers, farm laborers and sweat-shop seamstresses, illegal immigrants in menial jobs and Americans saddled with immense student loans and paltry wages. They are known as the working poor.

Depth, Breadth and Authenticity
Revisado: 10-22-16
The author was able to capture the joys and pains of the individual experiences, while compressing an complex topic into palatable portions. Thanks for telling MY story and enlightening me to the plight of many others!
