I am so happy I finally got the chance to listen to this book! The story is original and fun. Neil Gaiman is just a master story teller! The narration is amazing and it made the characters come to life. I had read American Gods in the past and I remember reading tales of Anansi as a child. Don't hesitate to listen!! This is a fun, charming adventure for adults who love fantasy and mythology!

An enchanting tale!

As a big fan of fantasy, I absolutely loved this book. I have always been drawn to stories about the fae, and this story checks off all my boxes while also staying super original. I loved that even tho it was an adult fantasy novel the sex scenes were tasteful and not at all cringe-y to listen to. I loved how the story follows 2 protagonists and gives you 2 tales and perspectives. I saw this book at the store and made a mental note to buy it after reading the summary. I eventually just got the audiobook and now I definitely want a hard copy. I can't wait to read the next book! Also the performance was great. The narrator has a beautiful voice and gave the story more life!

It was nice to jump back into this world!

In all honesty, I really do not like Nesta, the main character. Between her lusty and crabby personalities, it was just hard to love her like I did Feyre. I listened to this so that I could jump back into this world. I was happy to hear updates on other characters. I enjoyed when Nesta seemed to heal and have her moment of redemption as a character. Not my favorite book in the series, but overall happy with the performance and sad to say goodbye to the characters.

Exactly what I expected!

This book dives into loving yourself and others. Warning, as the cover implies, it discusses sexuality. I loved a lot of the messages and was happy that the author didn't exclude men. As a woman that was struggling to regain focus on my physical relationship with my partner it definitely helped ease my concerns and gave me some healthy tips. Enjoyed the listen. Hope this helps!

Beautiful and Enchanting

I highly recommend it! I was crying as I was saying goodbye to all the characters at the end. The entire cast was amazing and the story is so heartwarming. Please do yourself a favor and listen to this audiobook. I loved it so much!

A Wonderful Listen

I devoured this audiobook! I love that Neil Gaiman read his work and there is an awesome interview at the end. The story is amazing. Gaiman's voice acting is perfect. Yes it is definitely an adult fairy tale. Please listen. It made my heart happy:)

Beautiful Performance by Richard Armitage.

I was hesitant at first to start such a large novel, but I absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it! the performance was so wonderful and I'm sorry to say goodbye for now to all these characters I have grown to love and some despise. Do yourself the favor and listen<3
