Would you try another book from Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston and/or Rene Auberjonois?

This was a filler story - something between two books. There was somewhat of a completed storyline within the larger story, but if you want a Pendergast story that has an ending, don't bother with this one. I kept waiting for the conclusion, and was disappointed. Also, the side story about Constance seemed very contrived and 'stuck in' for no real reason. Perhaps it is explained in the next Pendergast novel. The narrator, however, was great and did bring the story to life.

I research weblogs as the topic of my PhD thesis in linguistics and I can say that this is the worst book I have ever read about blogging. The typical stereotype of the blogger is someone who constantly pats themselves on the back while telling us what their cat ate for dinner. Unfortunately, this author perpetuates this stereotype. While there are no cat menus in the book, there might as well be for all the times he mentions his own blog. For good blog books, see Rebecca Blood or Biz Stone.
