Needs to work on dialog
Revisado: 04-20-25
The setting had a lot of potential. The premise is good. The writing needs improvement and the performance was wooden and inconsistent.

Beautiful. voice. Terrible script
Revisado: 11-30-21
Lovely voice. The script was not helpful getting one to relax. The pacing was too fast and the number of images was distracting for a sleep aid.

Historia
Clouds are brewing over Cadogan House, and recently turned vampire Merit can't tell if this is the darkness before the dawn or the calm before the storm. With the city itself in turmoil over paranormals and the state threatening to pass a paranormal-registration act, times haven't been this precarious for vampires since they came out of the closet. If only they could lay for a bit, and let the mortals calm down. But that's when the waters of Lake Michigan suddenly turn pitch black - and things really start getting ugly.

One of the better Vampire series.
Revisado: 08-06-18
I enjoy Neill's protagonist. There is a great deal of humor. This story-line is well plotted and well thought out. It's a good romp.

Disjointed and jarring
Revisado: 06-15-18
The storyline is disjointed by more than the time cuts. There are jumps in the plot, where relevant facts just appear, they aren't discovered.
The Narrator makes the women sound like little girls, his falsetto is jarring. I don't know if it's because I'm more used to women doing men's voices than I am men performing women's.
But it is an interesting premise. I think more work should have gone into the editing.
