As a Millennial I walked into this book with a preconceived notion of what it would say. Instead, with thought-provoking questions, a gentle yet firm tone, scriptural backing, and unique stories, I found myself being lead to a call to action. All of the things I've felt determined not to take a stand on because I thought it wasn't my right to weigh in on the choices of others, or it was the more loving thing to mind my own business; this book held me accountable to asking a different question... This might be my way of thinking, but is it Christ's? What does the Bible say is Christ's view? And if I can firmly say that Christ's view is different from mine, why is mine different? In a way, this book lead me to a spiritual and political identity crisis, but in the most wonderful way. I'm so grateful for the read and the gentle reminder of where we should aim as Christians. How beautiful it is to be able to read something that leads you into making your own decisions, and for all the right reasons.
