He's Back and Better Than Ever!

I didn't care for the two books before this one. However, this book brought me back into the fold. It was timely, well-paced, and included all my favorite characters. Sucks that it ended on a cliffhanger, but I look forward to the second half.

Just wow! Despite the well documented history of wantan destruction by the Catholic Church in the name of God, I was still disgusted by the details uncovered in this book. Now I understand why the Church stopped at nothing to ensure Christianity became the world's dominant religion. The only solace I have is knowing these days are coming to an end. The world is waking up. We are again embracing the Devine Femanine. We now know what all those old white guys were afraid of. We are taking back our earth, one ritual at a time. We're coming for you Church! Your days are numbered.

I listened to book 6 before I read this one becauseit was a Daily Deal. Then I read the reviews about the other books and learned about ART. I simply had to read this next since it was the only full length book available. I'm hoping the publisher sees the wisdom of putting the other books together to form a normal length one. It seems like a waste of a credit for just 3 hours. 🙁

I thought this was even better than Earthcore. The storytelling was amazing. I laughed so many times. I felt sadness and empathy. I also felt rage. It's a perfect allegory for the US today and that makes me sad. Get this book! I loved it so much I'm going to relisten to Earthcore and then listen to this one again!

Worth the Credit!

I have been having terrible luck finding good books lately. They will only let you return so many. So when I found a really good mystery that I couldn't put down, I was thrilled! It's not a romance novel. It's not some "poor me" novel with sniveling characters. It's a good whodunit with a solid twist. I happily finished it in one day. I'm just sad it's over and I have to slog through the market and try to find another one. You will love this.

Mathew Riker is an excellent substitute for Courland Gentry! And voiced by the same guy! It's all the action and witty dialogue of the Gray Man with more family ties. As soon as I discovered the 1st book, I immediately downloaded the rest of the books in the series. Now I have something else to enjoy while I'm waiting for the next Gray Man or Orphan X novel.

This story was meh at best. While I love the narrator's voice, all the characters sound the same. It was annoying. The story was predictable and boring. I kept waiting for the action to begin. It never did. Not sure I will read any more of his books. it seems the best ones have already been written. 😞

OMG! I absolutely cannot stand Ruby! She drove me crazy! I kept thinking "Girl wake-up!" Even Emma was portrayed as a desperate woman who would stop at nothing to get her way. Ugh! Please save your credit and by something with stronger characters. There's not a single person worth rooting for in this story.
