For the life of me I couldn't understand the bad reviews that I read online. I had gone through about half the book, and it was so good I felt it necessary to leave review before I even finished it.
"WOW, this book blows away anything I have read in years. Its unique, fascinating, riveting, and totaly unpredictable."
after I wrote the above review I looked through a few others and for the of life me could not understand why people we're leaving ridiculous comments like "the story was unrealistic" " not believable" or " well-read but terrible story".
When I got to the last third of the book I realized why so many of the reviews were so scathing . The book paints a unflattering picture about religion, religious zealots, and Christianity in general. in fact it it borders on nonfiction describing Christianity in general.
Sooo, if you believe the Bible is nonfiction, and attend church regularly you're definitely not going to like this book. but if you're reasonably educated and enjoy a fantastic work of fiction this book is for you.

I just finished reading all of the Dresden Files that was desperate to find something that can replace the empty hole that I had left open. this series have lots of twists and turns tons of potential and the narrator is excellent
