Ah, Nyil, with its magic, its monsters, and its petty gods. A divine spat leaves French medic Viv stranded in the middle of an arcane disaster zone crawling with undead horrors. Thankfully, there are strange allies to be found, not least the mysterious interface that helps humans survive in this merciless world. Viv will have to progress fast to survive this calamity and find civilisation. She will also need a bit of luck. Unless, of course, she becomes the calamity herself. After all, luck is such a fickle thing.

I wasn't sure if I would like this one at first, it started a bit slow, but I ended up really enjoying the story. I will definitely be getting the rest of these, especially if SBT does the narration.

an excellent play on cards

I'm not much for deck builders in general, but this one was recommended and was surprisingly good. The characters are well thought out and grow with the story. Soundbooth Theater once more does an amazing job with the voice acting, love those guys.

I have really been enjoying the pace of this book. The wonderful puns have been just as fun for me as they are terrible for my family. I played the book seller scene for my daughter and her eyes nearly rolled out of their sockets!

As a person who loves Dad jokes, I feel like this book was written especially for me. I love how SBT's crew handled this one. RavensDagger wrote a wonderful book and Soundbooth Theater did an amazing job bringing it to life. The world building and characters are great, I wish I could give more stars.

World building done well

I can appreciate the world building that has gone into this book and love that it loosely ties to the dungeon universe in general. I like the rank system and that it is the same as from Dinosaur Dungeon. Leads me to wonder if they are on the same world.
I love that SBT got ahold of this title as they do a wonderful job narrating. Well done guys.
