The difference between you—an entrepreneur—and the average financial advisory client is massive. You don't color within the lines. You don't like being told what you can and can't do. Most of the rules of thumb don't mean much to you because you'd rather create your own path than follow the traditional path that everyone is on. You prefer to think about what's possible rather than what limits and restrictions are in place. The word retirement probably makes you cringe.
