Wilson gets it right-again. Written months before the 2020 election, Wilson is shockingly prescient. Actual events track his script for 2020 flawlessly. They only thing he underestimated was Trump’s willingness to go all in on stealing the election and fomenting an insurrection. Democrats took some of his advice and saved the nation from this unspeakable, amoral, traitorous con man.

My best Audible book by far. Shaara’s stories are gripping, his research deep. This book is a fine example of him showing his mastery of his craft. The performance was outstanding as well. I’m listening to this book again starting today.

Fun and Witty Military Sci-Fi

Fun but no depth of characters

It was a fun listen and the voice performer was excellent. The story was interesting but the characters never became authentic. People are complex and these characters had so much potential to be just that -complicated and thereby human and instructive on how to live authentically and in connection with others.
