Historia
Bob Odenkirk’s career is inexplicable. And yet he will try like hell to explicate it for you. Charting a “Homeric” decades-long “odyssey” from his origins in the seedy comedy clubs of Chicago to a dramatic career full of award nominations - with a side trip into the action-man world that is baffling to all who know him - it’s almost like there are many Bob Odenkirks! But there is just one and one is plenty. Featuring humorous tangents, wild characters, and Bob’s trademark unflinching drive, Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama is a classic tale told by a determined idiot.

A behind the scenes view of a comedy actor becoming a drama actor in one of the best performabces the cinema has seen
Revisado: 03-21-24
It was great to undertsand the inner workings of a comedy actor/producer. His challenges from early stages in his career and how he produced one of the best performancee in cinema history.
It is an intimate view of his life as an actor.
I've enjoyed listening to Bob's voice. It reminds me of Jimmy McGill eloquence. Made the whole story more enjoyable.

Insightful

Enjoyed the narration. Information and stories are very useful. Learnings and recommendations have real-life applications. Clear, precise, and on-point book on leadership. Got me thinking for days and inspired me to develop myself as a leader in my area and challenge the type of manager I am today.

Historia
There is so much we get wrong about power: who has it, what it looks like, and the role it plays in our lives. Grounded in over two decades’ worth of scientific research and inspired by the popular class of the same name at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Acting with Power offers a new and eye-opening paradigm that overturns everything we thought we knew about the nature of power.

Worth it and learned a lot
Revisado: 01-18-23
I love books narrated by their authors. Deborah Gruenfeld has a beautiful voice. I enjoyed listening to her and knowing I was getting a Stanford-level course for much less than the tuition at Stanford. After reading (actually listening) to this book I'm much more curious about how the courses are dictated in person. There are some parts of the book that I wasn't too much interested in but besides that, the content is great and has real-life applications.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

This book is AMAZING
Revisado: 01-02-23
Trevor Noah is a master storyteller. Listening to this very personal story from his own voice is definitely the best choice to read this book. It has to be one of the best audiobooks out there, without a doubt. It made me laugh, cry, and learn a lot about South Africa. It was a joy listening to it and I'm really sad it's over.

Unexpected
Revisado: 12-17-22
Simu performance is incredible. At first, I didn't know what to expect from Simu's memoir, but page after page he were untangle a very deep, honest view of his life. His struggles and victories. I felt related in so many ways. I recommend this book. I recommend Simu's story.
