Very basic - fine for first time job seekers

Good basic material every job seeker should know and should already know if they are well into their career. Not useful for seasoned job seekers. Perspective is based around “what would you do in this scenario” rather than “give me an example of when”. Again, great guidance for your first job. Two stars because that was not clarified before I purchased.

No "Follow along Manual" included

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The title states a "Follow along Manual", indicating a manual with what I had hoped would be images, etc. No supplemental material is included for download. The information on the audio is good but images of some of the concepts would make all the difference. I think this will serve as a great review after I have studied using other materials.

Colorful images are a powerful tool to learn many scientific concepts, and help to retain information. Audio-only is rather difficult for so much information; thus, the workbook. The images were clearly created in color but converted to black & white for the PDF, diminishing the value considerably. Of course, the book cover on the PDF is in color, just nothing else. I will now need to search the web for each concept, where the book includes images, for a better learning experience. How very disappointing,

Enjoyable story with depth but not gore or horror, which Is a risk when there is a WWII piece to it. Great ending. Highly recommend.

When you want a light read

What made the experience of listening to Dyeing Wishes the most enjoyable?

It's a light, entertaining read for when my mind needs a break and a light distraction. This is one of my go-to series for just that purpose. It has a little ghost paranormal, a little close-knit friendship, some humor, and a small-town community feel. If you want depth and to be pulled in, then this won't fill that mood. Know that going in and enjoy.

Who was your favorite character and why?

i like the dead grandma, even though she isn't a character in the book. She is just often referenced.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Complete character change. I would have been turned off by the main character as a man. As a woman, it was particularly grating. Really, a woman can have strength and some level of femininity and class. I couldn't decide who the target audience was but many people did rate it highly. Just not my thing...

Would you ever listen to anything by Ilona Andrews again?

I liked "Clean Sweep" so I need to determine which book is the anomaly.

Would you be willing to try another one of Renée Raudman’s performances?

Yes. There was no way to make this script a good listen if you are turned off by this type of character and language.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Fingernails on chalkboard grating. Yuck.
