Perhaps the worst narration ever

I commend the authors on a solid story. The narration, however, is painful. The narrator seems fine during conversational parts, the narrative portions sound awkward and disjointed. Staccato. Galloping. Emphasizing the wrong words in a sentence. And often, he sounds robotic, as if a male Siri voice were reading. Did anyone listen to this before releasing this?
