A little different from my favorite authors but I had to be careful listening to it in the car. Ok maybe it’s a guy thing, perhaps a middle aged guy thing but this book hit me hard. Hard in a good way but hard none the less.

The Knights of the Boardroom series is a riveting story-line of the K&H board members and their submissives. Jeoy W. Hill truly drives a nail through the whole premise of why we do what we do. There are very few other authors who can illicit the sounds, smells, and ambiance of the character locations. It isn't so much the how, but the why. You feel on both sides of the D/S slash and she gets it. I could pick any book in her collection and it would be the same. Besides story of O, and the The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy, just start one of her series and go with it. If you felt let down by the whole 50 Shades hysteria, you have come to the right place. I have to say her narrators G.C. VonCloudts, and Maxine Mitchell have spoiled me. Their voices make it hard to hear other readers the same way without that discerning ear. Yup Joey has spoiled me rotten and I wouldn't have it any other way.
