Men have been conditioned to be the quintessential "nice guy". They're trained to be overly humble, kind to a fault, and that just "being themselves" is enough to attract and keep the woman of their dreams. Men are told to believe that conventional masculinity is toxic and to put women ahead of their own interests, passions, and purpose. This book exposes the comforting lies you've been told throughout your life for what they really are, enabling you to become a truly authentic alpha who chases excellence and leads a successful passion-filled life.

He’s trying to teach men how to be men without Christ
Revisado: 11-25-24
I won’t say I didn’t enjoy parts of this book, I did. Some of it was quite valuable too. But, he is preaching a very worldly gospel, be warned. His goal is to use women to gratify his ego and physical lust. Sadly his message of a man is how much women will degrade themselves to compliment his ego, and attract the respect of men who seek the same vein glory. Meanwhile my father married a single mother who was a remarkable person with a life story that would put this author to shame, and without that marriage I would simply not exist. A wise man once said, the truth without tact, is mere cruelty. It may not be his intent, I sense goodness in him, but this is a very cruel and base line of advice housed inside the heart of this work, and my guess is he got very hurt, and doesn’t want to feel that way ever again. Let’s take that to Jesus and not let fear of being injured tempt us to simply justify becoming the monsters we seek to avoid. I hope this finds you well brother, may Christ find you, and never leave you 🙏🏼☦️

Weidenkopf collects over 50 of the most common and dangerous lies about Catholic history and, drawing on his experience as a historian and apologist, shows how to answer them simply and powerfully. Whether it’s claims about Catholicism’s supposedly pagan origins, old myths about Galileo or the Inquisition that never seem to go away, or more modern misconceptions that anti-Catholics cynically exploit, The Real Story provides the desperately needed corrective.

Worth your time!
Revisado: 11-25-24
Do you have annoying friends who say things like no one has killed more people than the Catholic Church? Even though you know Communism alone killed more people than several world wars combined? But not sure how to structure that argument?
Now you will. Insightful, poignant, and concise. This book will bring you up to speed on every heretical, and frankly false anti Catholic propaganda talking point you are likely to encounter out in the wild, and aims (and largely succeeds) to arm you to the teeth with the most important counter arguments that bring those false narratives crashing down, and hopefully open the door to full conversation for other wayward souls.

Season 1 recapped but deeper understanding
Revisado: 11-24-24
I loved the depth of the case review, but I will warn listeners that do not go in expect new or different cases from season 1, there are I’m sure but fresh off finishing this audible in 2 days, I do not recall much at all outside of cases covered in season 1.
What it does do though is go even deeper into the meaning behind those cases and the history around them, how that might apply to your life & salvation.
Plus I love any excuse to support his work 🙏🏼

We used to think being a woman had something to do with biology, but the nation’s top experts keep assuring us that is definitely not the case. So Matt decided to do what no man had done before. He sat down with the experts and asked them directly. Join Matt on his often comical yet deeply disturbing journey as he answers the question generations before us never knew they needed to ask: What is a woman?

Saw the Documentary first, book is an excellent expansion of those ideas!
Revisado: 06-16-22
Chilling but all to needed in an age where the basic meaning of historically accepted facts are being redefined by undermining the value of language.
Yes, words do change over time, but this go far deeper then mere words being evolved in meaning, this is about subduing anyone who gets in their way.
Definitely worth the credit, I strongly recommend this book to anyone seeking to understand just how bad things have become and would like to know how to fight it.

How do we make sense of the world's different religions? In today's globalized society, religion is deeply intertwined with every issue we see on the news. But talking about multiple religions can be contentious. Are different faiths compatible somehow? And how can we know whether one religion is more true than another? In this creative thought experiment, Peter Kreeft invites us to encounter dialogues on the world's great faiths.

Excellent book, might be hard for some.
Revisado: 10-31-20
I do enjoy books of this nature. They serve a complex function that is required if one truly seeks to better understand a subject many consider impossible to understand.
The format reads like a stage play as characters take turns speaking and are read out loud by the narrator turn for turn, this will turn off some listeners as this can be repetitive. You’ll notice I said, “can be” this does not mean you will not adjust to it, as I did but it’s by no means a guarantee you will.
If you do mange to get past that initial hurtle, what awaits you is a pretty important piece of work by the always enjoyable Prof. Peter Kreeft. Here we learn like terms and the limits of our ability to even give consistent definitions what things are and are not in terms of how we approach the subject of religion.
From here the book expands into what other religions actually believe and how closely tied if at all with Christianity they are and are not.
In the end, it will leave you with new questions you didn’t know you had.

Historia
Summa Theologica consists of three main parts. The second part is divided two, and this recording presents Prima Secundae - Part I of Part II. Taken in its entirety, Summa Theologica forms an essential contribution to the canon of Catholic doctrine and was written in the last decade of his life by Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274), an Italian-born Dominican friar. Although he died before completing it, the body of thought it contains is a continuing influence to the education and guidance of students of theology in the main Christian traditions.

Continuing the Journey
Revisado: 10-14-20
This collection itself is extremely impressive and clearly a labor of love. Volume 1 is 52 hours long, filled to the brim with knowledge. Volume 2 part 1 is 48 hours & will have a second part which has not yet been released. I am excited to listen to all Volumes in full (There are three in total).
This is an excellent way to experience this landmark work. You will learn why we as a culture in the West felt won and conquer especially in the world of thought for so long. In this age of relativism it is an antidote most welcome into our Hearts & Minds.
Would recommend to anyone who values learning and is not afraid to be questioned. Know thy self.

Academic but still fun audiobook. Peter Kreeft makes listening to and about St. Thomas Aquinas an absolute joy. I recommend this to anyone who is curious to have a practical knowledge of what Aquinas believed and why.

Historia
The book recounts the life of the Virgin Mary and the divine plan both for creation and the salvation of souls. According to María de Ágreda, the book was mostly dictated to her by the Virgin Mary herself. The book moves between describing the Trinity, the Virgin Mary's life, and providing spiritual guidance to the author, which also spiritually benefits the listener. The book describes the virtues and how the listener ought to conduct his or her life using the Virgin Mary as a model for holiness.

A Rare & Prestigious Catholic Work
Revisado: 08-18-20
This is an incredibly rare piece of work, in the sense that while recognized largely by many Catholics, and more over by the Vatican as a real work inspired by an actual apparition of Mother Mary, what follows is Mother Mary telling Ven. Mary of Agreda, her life story.
Definitely worth a listen.
